Managing Across the Lifecycle

Target Audience

  • Individuals who require a business and management level understanding of the ITIL service lifecycle and how it may be implemented to enhance the quality of IT service provision within an organization
  • Individuals seeking the ITIL Expert in IT Service Management certificate, for which this qualification is the final mandatory module

Course Objectives

The Managing Across the Lifecycle course focuses on the core knowledge needed to successfully implement IT Service Management. The course builds upon the knowledge and experience that learners obtained in the Intermediate courses and is intended to bring a candidate from ITIL content knowledge to ITIL content application and integration knowledge, and provide skills that can be used in the workplace in a tangible way.

$2,900 (includes exam); Minimum class 8; Maximum class 18

Prerequisites

The ITIL Foundation Certification in IT Service Management is a prerequisite to taking this class, plus a minimum of 15 credits from Intermediate certificates. Proof of these ITIL certification credits must be provided a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the start of class. Learners must complete approximately 30 hours of personal study prior to taking this class. Students will need access to the core ITIL books and must bring them to class. These books are not included in the cost of this class.

Examination Format

Closed book, ten (10) multiple choice, gradient-scored questions based upon a single case study, issued in advance, with additional short scenarios to provide additional context for each question (120 minutes duration, 70% or better is required to pass)

Course Delivery

This course is delivered by Propoint Solutions’ EXIN Accredited Trainers (ATs) who each hold the ITIL Expert Certification.

This course is delivered over 5 consecutive days from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This course will conclude with a 120-minute exam on the last day of the course.

This certification is worth 5 credits of the 22 required to achieve ITIL Expert Certification.

Onsite Course Cancellation Policy If Customer cancels or reschedules a course within 20 business days of the scheduled start date, Customer will be charged 25% of the course fee. If cancellation or reschedule occurs within ten business days of the start date, Customer will be charged 50% of the course fee. Any such fee charged will not be applied to the price of any rescheduled courses.
